What you’ll do Our Mid Office department is responsible for all our financial control. It has two major responsibilities: Control and Customer Support. The Control department uses independent sources to control our financial intake and outflow. The Customer Support department resolves financial differences between Optiver’s internal administration and the external administration at our Clearing.
You will be responsible for setting up and improving these controls, processes, reports and reconciliations and be closely involved in developing monthly and annual reporting systems. As an important member of the team, you will also be responsible for informing our traders and clearing about settlements, overdue entries and dividends. You will report to clearing and provide them with feedback regarding their performance.
What we need
- HBO education in Finance/Accountancy or Economics;
- Qualities of accuracy, completeness and independence;
- You should have at least two years’ work experience as a controller;
- An interest in financial markets;
- Good skills in English and Dutch.
