Fund Administrator Associate 2 Private Equity Fund Administration This position is within the Private Equity Services Business Unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Services Group. Under direct supervision, the Fund Administrator provides assistance with certain portions of the expense, compliance and reporting functions to support the fund administration role. In addition, the Associate two may be asked to provide supervision to entry level Fund Administrators at the Associate 1 level. Fund Administrators at State Street interact with all levels of personnel and will have limited contact with clients or client contacts. Fund Administrators handle the day-to-day accounting and accounting related administration for several client sponsored investment funds. Job Description • Supervising lower level staff accountants and managing staff workflow • Preparation and input of general journal entries and cash disbursements • Maintenance of general ledger, including preparation and update of system generated financial statements and other reports • Review and/or preparation of quarterly and annual financial workpaper packages • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements drafts • Preparation of annual tax work paper packages • Preparation of various client related correspondence • Special client projects • This position can be located in Fair Lawn, NJ or New York, NY Qualifications Candidates must have an accounting degree and 2 to 6 years of previous accounting experience. Candidates should have strong computer skills, particularly MS Office products, especially MS Excel
