Here is a Sydney based opportunity to join a leading bank in their institutional division. This firm enjoys very strong relationships with corporate Australia and is particularly active in the natural resources/Mining/oil and gas sector. We are looking for an experienced banker with more than five years banking exposure and ideally two or more years exposure to debt financing proposals covering the main banking product suite plus hybrid capital, bond issues and structured trade finance. You will need a strong financial analysis skill set with a proven track record in writing credit submissions and performing regular client reviews. You will be encouraged to form relationships with the Australian mining/oil and gas community and a key part of your role will be to analyse new proposals for debt funding, review the clients activity and propose new solutions via the preparation of strategic selling papers. As part of a smaller team the reporting lines to senior stakeholders ensure a satisfying level of involvement in a deal from beginning to end. If you have prior experience of mining/ geological  industries that would be well recieved but all candidates with strong generic skills are encouraged to apply .
