You will be responsible for day to day managing of resources/deliverables for Murex Rates/FX team members (10 people). • Responsible for Service Delivery reporting. • Responsible for defining/managing overnight support rota. • Responsible for reporting back to business and IT management team on progress of Murex bugs/defects. Knowledge: Specialist Skill – Acquires and develops the specialist and technical knowledge and skill to perform the role on an ongoing basis within the changing environment of the Bank. Business Knowledge and Contribution – Understands the broader business environment in which they work from an industry, organisation, Business Unit and role perspective. Risk Management - Identifies and manages risk within their area/s of influence and uses, develops and implements risk measurement and management systems, processes and policies within the business. Project Management - Develops and monitors courses of action (work plans) for themselves and others to ensure that work is completed in a controlled and efficient manner. Financial Management - Plans and manages the Bank's financial resources in line with sound financial principles and regulations. Knowledge Management - Uses, develops and implements systems and processes to capture, manage and distribute up to date, accurate and readily accessible knowledge and information across the business, to a wide range of stakeholders. Business Development - Researches, identifies and evaluates new business product and service offerings in line with the Bank's overall strategy and objectives and market conditions, developments and opportunities. Experience/Qualifications Required: • Experience of providing Murex end user support to Back, Middle and Front Office is essential. • Knowledge of Murex configuration, for example static data setup, knowledge of setting up filters/batches/Processing scripts. • Knowledge of UNIX, some shell scripting and simple commands. • Knowledge of SQL and Murex data model. • Knowledge of Murex services/architecture (launcher configuration). • Hands on support experience of Murex technical software, for example Reporting Module/RTI/MXML. • Experience/understanding of Murex upgrades (patch/main branch). • Rates business/product knowledge would be beneficial.
