Key Deliverables:

• Liaising closely with the Front Office Trading Teams to provide business solutions whether working independently or as part of a team whilst delivering in a high-pressure environment. It is important for the candidate to have enthusiasm, commitment and a positive attitude as well as being a strong team player. The candidate must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to discuss, analyse and accurately document technical issues.

• Provision of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line business and IT support for the Trading business.

• Delivery of enhancements to production Trading systems - 1. Integrated trading systems encompassing vanilla and exotic derivatives trade entries, pricing, Risk & P&L. 2. Centralized pricing, electronic trading, risk and P&L and trade capture.

• Analysis and development of solutions to resolve defects and simplify support overheads.

• Regression testing and releases of new functionality delivered via the Trading Projects teams.

• The team provides “follow the sun” support model globally.

Technical Knowledge:

• 5/7 years of formal trading application development experience.

• 5/7 years of C++/C# and or Java experience.

• Oracle or Sybase.

• Sound knowledge of OO methodology.
