Our client, an international service provider within the Financial Services, is looking for an  

 Accountant (ref 0810-29AF)

Your main role:

• preparation of accurate management and financial accounts for funds
• preparation of sub-consolidation within companies structures
• preparation of reporting package under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS format
• liaise with administrators, accountants, clients and auditors
• respond to clients queries
• coordinate with tax department for the completion of annual audits and tax returns
• train and coach junior staff
• various accounting projects

Your profile:

• minimum 2 years accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry
• thorough knowledge of the accounting treatment of a wide variety of financial products
• good knowledge of accounting standards (Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS)
• eager to learn technical aspects of funds and companies
• excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• outstanding people management abilities
• client oriented attitude
• PC literate
