A significant and challenging opportunity has become available within the corporate banking division of one of the world's leading financial institutions. Their size, diversity of product offering and global scale has enabled them to keep a relatively low profile in the current markets and they are well positioned to take advantage in the longer term. Working within a vibrant and motivated team, principle accountabilities will include:

  • The timely production of the Banking Management Reports, Group Management Reports, Performance Reports, EXCO Papers and Board Papers.
  • Prepare monthly variance investigation and analysis for CMB & CIB and other business units.
  • Provide commentary on balance sheet and profit and loss. Prepare reconciliation of results for group. 
  • Complete / Review journal adjustments where required and review all journals passed by immediate subordinates Prepare monthly EXCO/Board reporting
  • Prepare monthly CIB return and
  • Co-ordinate and review preparation of all commentary
  • Prepare high level forecast profit and loss report for Senior management
  • Co-ordinate the collation of forecast revenue and expenses from each area of the Bank.
  • Prepare monthly CIB reporting and derived schedules;

To be considered for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years experience in a management accounting role as well as a strong understanding of the financial services sector. You will have well developed communication skills and the ability to forge high level relationships with the business and related stakeholders.
