Topping the league tables and clearly a market leader on a global scale, this well respected firm is heavily involved in providing advice across PPP and PFI related activity - roads, railways, aviation and ports sectors. Geographic reach will extend beyond the UK into Continental Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Responsibilities will include: - Work with small client focused teams providing advice, technical input and client support as required- Manage elements of certain assignments and teams reporting to the Project Assistant Director/Director -Develop and use complex financial models, identifying problems and risks. Produce clear analysis to support client needs- Review, analyse and evaluate bids received for projects on behalf of project sponsors - Attend and participate in sales presentations - Share technical knowledge within the Infrastructure Advisory group - Take ownership of project / part of project - Awareness of current risk issues on all assignments and of firm's policy in relation to contract - Responsible for accuracy and content of pitch/report documentation- Strong project management skills - Agree scope, timetable, resource for assignments, report variances and manages communications proactively - Day to day contact with clients - Lead in key areas in client meetings and contributes on wider issues - Originate and deliver presentations to a client confidently and articulately - Monitor profitability of assignment Skills required: - Strong experience gained in project finance, investment banking, M&A or commercial management consulting, preferably within the transport sector - Degree qualified. MBA/advanced technical degree/ financial or accounting qualification - Very strong quantitative skills - Demonstrates organisation and self management skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, organisations and clients - High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed - Analytical in approach - Strong team player
