Key purpose of the role will be to lead on a data analysis project, working closely with other business areas across the organisation to deliver meaningful data, business intelligence and analysis via peer, outlier or trend analysis. The role will involve providing training and advice on the use of business intelligence tools in order to meet the needs of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships across the business in order to identify the needs of the business and enhance service delivery. As such, strong communication and influencing skills are essential and will be complemented by a strong technical background, which will guarantee credibility within the business and the wider marketplace.

Applicants will demonstrate a strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, together with a sound knowledge of accounting and financial analysis and a practical approach to problem solving. It is essential that the successful individual is able to communicate clear and practical information derived from complex analysis and to translate technical information into practical business and strategic solutions.   The ideal individual will have a quant background and modelling skills honed in a risk management environment. Previous exposure to modelling economic capital requirements will be a great advantage.
