Job Description

You will be working on the Mantra project. This application is deployed to teams around the world and provides access to investment information broken down into a wide range of criteria. Mantra provides global reporting capabilities as well as screens and reports for the corporate CRM system. Your responsibilities will include:

Communication with product owners and users to clarify requirements
Cube design and implementation using Microsoft SQL05, Integration, Analysis and Reporting Services
Database design and coding using PL/SQL on Oracle 11g Enterprise Edition
Development of quality C# code using TDD and OOD and ASP.NET
Presenting and documenting new functionality to the team and business community
Translation of user requirements into feature based deliverables
Liaising with development teams to plan incorporation of new features and data into the Mantra application
Support system and user acceptance testing
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development team
Assist with business critical production issues
Key Requirements

You must be competent and confident enough to work in a large team of highly skilled individuals. The successful candidate will display a passion for development and be pro-active and energetic in their work.

Business Intelligence Solution Design: Proven skills in the design of data warehouses, cubes, ETL and reporting technology
Database: Strong relational database knowledge (preferably Oracle and SQL Server) with both design and coding experience on these platforms
Agile Development: Track record of using agile development methodologies such as Scrum to deliver solutions in partnership with business teams
OO Design:  Object orientated design experience using common patterns in a modern day languages such as C# or Java would be advantageous
Communication: Confident communicator being able to deliver views concisely
Education: Educated to degree level in a science, engineering or computer related degree
