Highly analytical, technology savvy gurus that have a passion for learning and thoroughly enjoy working with numbers and performing intense analysis sought for this highly challenging role. This role will allow chosen candidates to learn all about how the company invests (asset classes, products, strategies)

  • Do you have solid technology skills including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, what if statements) as well as some programming skills or familiarity with languages such as VB and/or SQL)?
  • Do you enjoy analyzing large complex sets of numbers to tell a story?

This exciting position will be working with a team of highly intelligent go getters that are in charge of utilizing their technology and analytical skills to create and edit complex investor performance attribution and position reports as well as continuously focus on constant improvement of the technology utilized to perform this complicated report generation process.

This position will learn all about the investment process, instruments and markets to perform this position with precision. In addition, on a daily basis, this position will:

  • Utilize extensive analytical skills to create and audit periodic return attribution reports and respond to custom client request related to portfolio performance.  (Portfolios are invested in over 60 markets and almost every single major asset class).
  • Learning about the companies complex, systematic investment process, markets invested in, financial instruments used, the reporting process, and technology utilized, etc.
  • Constantly pushing to innovate the complex reporting process by utilizing advanced technology tools including SQL, Excel Macros (VB) and custom technology.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an Ivy League or top Tier 1 University.  Cumulative GPA's above 3.7 are required. SAT scores at 1400 or above.
  • Prefer candidates that have graduated with degrees in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics)
  • 1 or more years experience from a technology or strategy consultancy or top financial institution.
  • Advanced, Power User Excel skills (advanced Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charting, Macros)
  • Programming experience highly preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills, highly detailed, ability to work in a very excellence oriented environment, creative out of the box thought process, driven and inquisitive.
