Rapid growth within the FX Business globally  has lead to the need for high-performance, high volume automated trading systems similar to those already established within Equities. The explosive growth in Algo trading capability has led to this major investment bank to plan the re-engineering of their architecture and applications in order to facilitate a next generation FX function. They are looking to develop reliable and robust messaging and trade capture systems capable of managing risk in real-time, at high frequency and extensive client-side.

To the Japan Technologist this represents an exciting challenge to become involved with new-generation development, new technologies and a rapidly growing, profitable and demanding business unit!!!

The Technology team hiring is responsible for the design, development and support of the systems both currently being used and new. This business is very global and you will be working with developers in several different locations so communication skills are key.

Technology wise the team lacks GUI expertise of any kind and as such is looking to bring a candidate in with a C#.NET Winforms background (or similar) and strong OO Skills, including experience of working on real-time, large-scale multithreaded, fast paced applications.  

Essential – GUI experience. Strong C#.NET, C++ or Java skills. UNIX and NT. Large-scale multithreaded, high volume/frequency applications experience

Preferable – C# Winforms, JavaSwing, Banking or Telecoms background.
