Our Client has been in the hospitality business since 1960s and has hotel properties in Asia Pacific. With a strong expansion plan, they are looking for a Financial Controller to be based in Japan.
You will be reporting to the Group HQ Finance Director and GM. This role requires you to be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance and Accounts, Purchasing and Information Technology functions. Management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, tax planning in compliance with international accounting standards and local regulatory requirements. Evaluate and implement MIS system to improve operational efficiencies of the Hotel. Facilitate effective purchasing processes and cost control.
Ideally, you must have good experience working in the hotel or hospitality industry. You must have a Degree in Accounting with CPA qualification. Minimum 7 years financial management experience of which 3 years as Head of Finance of a sizable organisation. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative and a positive attitude which embraces change. Good team player, strong supervisory skills and meticulous. Ability to speak and write in the Japanese language a must. Hotel operations experience highly preferred.
