Data Centre Manager - Central Bank (manage a team)

Established Central Bank in the Region

Our client is a catalyst to a rapidly growing financial industry, managing foreign reserves, creating new policies and initiatives that address the ever-changing landscape.

You will be part of a team who is responsible for the efficient and reliable operations of the Data Centre comprising mainframes computer system, enterprise server systems, storage and network. Develop procedures for BCP and disaster recovery to ensure a timely recovery of IT operations at the remote site.  Evaluate and recommend advanced Data Centre management tools to continually optimise the operations.  Lead of a team of 10-20 other Data Centre professionals.  Strong writing skills are required since proposal writing is a big part of this position.

Applicant should have 7+ years professional experience of which 3+ years should be relevant experience. 

Requirements

Expert knowledge of Automation tools and Job scheduling product knowledge for Enterprise server environments including all types of platforms from Mainframe to Unix, LAN/Wan environments.(Autosys, Control-M).  Demonstrated experience in project management, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.  Must be Familiar with data storage architecture, methodologies for back/up, recovery, and other products. Management experience leading a team of at least 5-10 is required.

Bachelors degree from a top school with honors (Engineering or Computer Science)
