Basic Purpose:

Using discretion and judgment, manages the daily cash operating activities with a focus on maintaining appropriate liquidity. Works with auditors, banks and various areas of Eaton Vance to ensure adherence to internal controls, while ensuring all daily activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Emphasis will be placed on increasing the department’s processing efficiency and knowledge of the Company’s overall cash and capital position. Demonstrates ability to evaluate operational/financial systems and recommend and implement in a project leadership capacity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees corporate cash management functions including all standard reporting and analysis in the following areas:
    1. Determining the daily cash availability
    2. Initiating any short or long-term investments
    3. Supporting the monthly cash account reconciliation process
    4. Supporting payment administration
  2. Responsible for the preparation and/or review of financial analysis related to the following Treasury functions:
      Bank compensation
    1. Cash flow projections
    2. Interest income
