A leading financial institution is seeking a two Legal Counsels to join their growing Hong Kong office. As Legal Counsel, you will provide support for their growing and diversifying operations within Hong Kong and China.  Responsibilities will include conducting the underwriting, due diligence process and execution of financing for a range of assets, implementing a product portfolio, reviewing and drafting contracts and agreements, and advising on the relevant laws, regulations and directives. The incumbent will also review and evaluate legal changes in accordance with market conditions and advise on implications and play an active role in evaluation of agreements with clients and external counsels. The successful candidate will have a degree in Law with more than 8 years of legal experience from a financial institution or from law firms with relevant experience in banking transactions laws. They should also be a Hong Kong qualified solicitor with excellent academics, sound commercial sense, and a background in investment banking either in M&A, principle investment or project finance. Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin are pre-requisites for this role.
