Candidates will be given the autonomy to run their portfolio.  Thus a mature personality and a stable background is required. 

Portfolio construction should be based on bottoms-up fundamental research (sector specific is preferred).  Strategies can use macro factors, but not macro strategies as fund is purely equities based.

Specific sectors of interest are:

Industrials, Alternative Energy, Commodities and Biotech.  Other sectors will be considered as well.

While not ideal (given the make-up of the fund), generalist profiles and strategies that lend themselves to be in multiple sectors (I.e. Event driven, merger arb) will be considered as well.
