City Finance Firm seek a C++ Production Support Analyst, you will have a proven track record in C++ development (ideally VC++), strong exp of multithreading, socket level programming & use of TCP/IP, Relational Database exp (MS SQL). You must be able to demonstrate exp of supporting an existing large system to very high levels of availability. Exp of financial systems & especially trading systems. Able to demonstrate experience of adding a range of enhancements to an existing large system in a manner which minimises risk to a production environment, but maximises the speed of development & quality. The role will involve Installation of new product releases onto production, test & demo systems. The provision of extremely high levels of availability for the production & test systems. Resolution of any problems in these systems in a timely & professional manner. Development of Production monitoring tools. Support of the dealer community in the test & production environments. Support of sales staff using the demo system. Implementation & documentation of support procedures. Ensuring compliance with company security procedures.
