Human Resources / Administrative Assistant. Human Resources (HR) Assistant required by a Middle Eastern Bank to assist the Human Resources Manager and CCO as required. This position would suit someone who has an excellent administrative background, with some solid payroll / accounts / financial experience. Whilst previous HR and Financial Services experience would be beneficial, this is not a necessary requirement. The successful applicant will be robust and an excellent communicator. Key responsibilities: - Payroll; ensure timely payment instructions to Payroll Bureau - Absence Management; cross-check weekly timesheets against leave requests, training and sickness forms - Input absence data, monitor absence database and ensure that Policy is adhered to for discretionary absence, e.g. Compassionate leave, Emergency leave, holiday carryovers and long service entitlement - Training and Development - Headcount Reporting - Employee Files; assist with processing and keeping track of new employee documentation - Benefits; assist with the administration of the Bank's Benefit Schemes, e.g. Pension, AVC, Dental, Medical - Appraisal Process; initiate annual appraisal process and keep track of receipt of the elements thereof, i.e. appraisals (performance reviews), goals & objectives, training & development plans.
