The role will involve:
- Playing an assisting in the evaluation and analysis of proposals for acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic alliances. - Transaction Management - actively assist in the management, negotiation and execution of corporate acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures from start to completion, including the negotiation of price and structure to optimise the financial aspects of transactions and negotiation of legal documentation in conjunction with in-house and third party legal advisers. - Produce valuations using various valuation techniques, assumptions and sensitivities. - Monitor procedures and controls for transactions - Assist in the preparation of strategic reviews, participating actively in making recommendations to divest, hold or acquire businesses. We are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows: - Investment bankers with major firms, probably at the Analyst or 1st year associate level - Corporate development professionals from other firms - ACAs with corporate finance advisory experience - Outstanding academics - Financial services experience is not required
