Situated in Equities BUC, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of 5 specialist product controllers and be the key desk contract for the Structured Products traders on the desk. You’ll supervise and add value to the commentary and analysis around daily and monthly P&L, initiate balance sheet and SOX reviews and co-ordinate with other logistics business areas and front office to resolve ad hoc issues concerning P&L, trade bookings, new business and strategy.

You’ll be required to develop specialist technical knowledge about the products and the business including the products traded, hedging strategies and revenue generation.

As the Head of the team the role will include significant amounts of strategic analysis and process improvement related work involving significant liaison with the Equities Change the Bank function and relevant IT and business project groups. You’ll also contribute to management within the wider equity derivatives BUC team.
