We represent a major Global Financial Services provider engaged in retail and commercial banking. To support the strategic expansion in Singapore, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Portfolio Manager within Bank’s Technology Division

ROLE

  • Collaborating with CIO Demand Management to shape new demand and develop a portfolio of change on behalf of our business areas.
  • Ensuring a pipeline of work is available to maintain the effectiveness of the delivery portfolio and maximise utilisation of resources within it.
  • Planning, designing and resourcing a portfolio of change in order to leverage the use of both internal and external supply chains to ensure that business benefits are realised.
  • Delivering a portfolio of projects across a multiple client base that will each deliver an output that realises benefits of strategic importance.
  • Delivering the portfolio to the agreed time, quality and cost.
  • Ensuring that each of the projects is individually defined, planned and delivered against their respective goals, objectives and business case.
  • Ensuring the integrity of each project is maintained, focussing on internal consistency and compliance to governance, standards, processes and strategies e.g. MSP, CMMi, PRINCE 2.
  • Working closely with the business areas in transitioning all projects into BAU, supporting the realisation of benefits whist maintaining operational stability.
  • Collaborating with CIO I&SD to deliver projects into the production environment successfully.
  • Being a role model for CIO staff through strong leadership, clarity of vision and effective decision making.
  • Developing the project management capability of both own team members, the broader CIO organisation and the business areas.
  • Playing an active part and making a significant contribution to the delivery of the CIO Business Plan. This includes supporting relevant transformational activities as well as driving the change agenda within the programme as well as making a significant contribution to a culture of continuous improvement.
