L-0808-1227 Legal Counsel - Asian Bank (Sing) < 3PQE


Our Client, South East Asia's largest bank, is looking to expand their Banking legal team.

The incumbent will:

- Provide responsive, sound, coherent & consistent legal advice on regulatory and contractual issues

- Review and provide recommendations on the legal aspects and considerations for the development and deployment of new products and services as well as any key business initiatives

- Working with the Compliance team to ensure effective interpretation and recommendations on regulations and policies affecting the business

- Establish, review and update internal rules, policies and guidelines to meet best practice regulatory and industry standards for the management of Legal and Contractual Risk

- Liaising and resolving key Legal and Contractual issues

- Assist and support other members of the Legal and Compliance Team where required


Requirements:


- 3PQE

- Recognised degree in law from a reputable university

- Knowledge of banking and financial services laws and regulations, consumer banking practices, legal best practices and understanding of financial products and systems
