Job Description

Due to continued growth in the commercial banking team our client is seeking an experienced commercial banker. Building on your strong market knowledge your mandate will be to develop new client relationships, specifically targeting organisations that have large import/ export requirements. Focusing on facilities that range between $1 – $30m you will be responsible for the end to end management of client development, including the originations and the structuring of solutions. Working with the whole suite of banking products you will aim to offer your clients a truly comprehensive banking service.

As team leader you will be responsible for a small team including a relationship manager and analyst. You will work with them to maintain growth from an existing portfolio of clients and ensure that as a team you are able to meet new client deliverables.

The Successful Applicant

Degree qualified you will currently be in a business banking/ commercial banking position within a large banking organisation looking to take the next step up into a management position. You will have exposure to industrial clients and experience building relationships with companies that have heavy import/export needs. Your commercial acumen, technical understanding of banking products and motivation to achieve targets will ensure that you are successful in this role.
