Head of Management Reporting

Our Client is seeking a new colleague to head-up the Management Reporting Team in the Finance department.

The Finance Department is responsible for all finance and accounting processes within the unit, covering private banking and investment fund activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Produce management and business unit reporting for the CFO and Executive Management

• Management and development of the 6 team members

• Delivering correct and relevant figures and analysis

• Contributing to cost management

• Developing, implementing and executing the Strategy and Action plans

• Supporting the Finance Department to ensure data integrity and completeness, as related to the financial systems and reporting tools (Olympic, Cognos, Hyperion, Navision)

• Providing internal users with a positive and qualified service, based on superior system knowledge, and responding to questions/ad hoc requests from the Business, The Group and external parties

• Continuous development of procedures and reports, process automation, documentation management.

• Participation in Finance and cross-departmental projects, to improve processes according to business requirements

• Translating the Business, The Group and legal requirements into enterprise data models on a conceptual and logical level

• Point of liaison between Finance and IT Department, internal & external system providers.

Qualifications

• Financial experience gained within private banking and investment funds – particularly 'Value Added Financial Support'

• Good insight into finance systems and information flows, connected with business understanding

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills (ability to identify root causes, trends or variances)

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and SQL required. Knowledge of Olympic would be beneficial

• Experience on financial platforms and/or data environments

• In-depth understanding of data extraction, analysis and interpretation

• A Manager with good communication skills

• Desire to create and build new processes

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
