Role:

• With direct ownership, management and control of the Operational Middle Office support functions. 
• Lead a team of 12 in Hong Kong and provide first class operational support for the Synthetic Businesses.
• In conjunction with others, coordinate and drive the Global and Regional strategy and objectives for Middle Office Operations Globally.
• In partnership with the Front Office Business Heads and other support units, continuously redefine and develop a good operating model.
• Direct and develop the internal and external controls for the suit of products traded by FO.
• Provide financial transparency and accountability for budgetary requirements.
• Drive and/or Implement People Programs for the Region.
• Continuously improve existing workflow.

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of Equity and Synthetic business in Asian markets.
• The ability to build networks globally and regionally to assist in the timely resolution of issues across functions, across time zones and as well as locally.
• Excellent people and team building skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with managers, peers and staff. Ability to manage with different cultures to their home culture.
• Excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to present clear, concise and well thought out presentations.
• A high level of energy and commitment to support the business during a period of expansion. An ability to be flexible and proactive in solving problems and issues for the Operations staff. Must have a "can do" approach.
• Able to build relationship with the business as well as peers globally and external clients.
