Ideal candidates for the role of Senior Accountant will possess private equity industry experience and a strong investment partnership accounting background to join its team. The key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include: • Recording all accounting transactions of the fund and ensuring all investments are booked accurately • Initiating capital calls and distributions and preparation of notices for dissemination to investors • Maintaining fund distribution waterfall calculations • Preparing monthly closing of fund books and preparing periodic financial statements • Reconciling fund bank accounts • Assisting on client service matters; being a prominent team member on client service teams (including implementation work) and handling individual client responsibilities • Maintaining and building client relationships • Coordinating discussion and documentation of portfolio investment valuations with clients Please email resumes to david.diller@roberthalffsg.com Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance • Minimum of 4+ years experience in Accounting or finance - at least 2+ years experience working at or with private equity funds • Understanding of partnership agreements preferred • Experience with INVESTRAN is preferable, but not necessary • Ability to plan and prioritize to ensure efficient and timely deliverables to clients • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Project management, client service, and technology skills • Team player
