Job Description:
Sourcing and compiling information on non-public companies
Conduct industry analysis, e.g.,
Develop sector overview
Identify main value drivers & industry trends
Form investment thesis
Identify short list of investment targets that will fit client’s profile
Assist deal team on due diligence, esp. operating and strategy DD
Mostly secondary research (desk-top research, talking with investment banks, analysts etc.) complemented by primary research as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of research experience working for a respected professional firm
High efficiency and effectiveness in gathering, processing and synthesizing large amounts of data
Resourceful in finding information that is not easily accessible
Expertise with all desk-top research tools
Good communication skills --- ability to communicate with analysts, brokers, external advisors etc.
Strong understanding of business fundamentals
A team player
High degree of integrity and professional ethics
Possess a strong drive for delivery and excellence
