• Preparation and review of state & local tax returns for the Firm (corporate and partnership) • Work with members of different groups within the Tax Dept – Federal, audit • Work with Controllers, Technology and other areas to obtain information to properly calculate tax • Prepare and review quarterly state tax estimated payments • Provide information for FAS 109 purposes; assist in state income tax projections and other calculations used for planning. • New entity research and due diligence. • Special projects
Experience/Skills
• Bachelor degree required; Advanced degree a plus, CPA a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Strong overall analytical and computer skills, experience with tax software required. (CorpTax a plus) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly • Minimum four years experience in tax field (financial services experience a plus) • Big 4 experience preferred, but not necessary
