• Domain expertise in the key processes of personal financial planning - encompassing general financial planning, asset allocation and investment planning, tax planning, estate planning, and most importantly retirement planning. •

Key Skills:

• Domain expertise in the key processes of personal financial planning - encompassing general financial planning, asset allocation and investment planning, tax planning, estate planning, and most importantly retirement planning.

• A point of view and perspective on the baby boomer segment and their planning needs including the distribution phase of retirement

• Knowledge of financial planning tools, calculators and methodology

• Experience in requirements gathering, use case development, systems analysis and functional design

• Ability to facilitate meetings and interact with senior executives from multi functional background

• Prior participation in the full software development lifecycle

• Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand

Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years experience in product management, consulting or business system analysis

• Experience in big five consulting firms and or boutique wealth management consulting firm preferred

• Prior experience should include designing financial planning systems at a major wire house or financial planning firm

Education:

• Bachelors in business, financial or related areas. MBA preferred

Experience with Sungard, Thomson, Morningstar etc. with specific experience in financial planning workstations may be useful.

  • Must have worked on or consulted about “financial planning tools” for consumers and advisors.
