Equity Research Analyst
The company Equity Research is a global leader among providers of independent equity research. Their research focuses on providing thought leadership, supported by incisive analysis and rigorous valuation of publicly quoted companies.
They are currently looking to expand our London-based analytical team by hiring an experienced analyst to work on our Nordea account. Focusing on Mining companies.
Coverage list will be based on the principle of an analyst covering either 13 Nordic stocks, or 17 European companies. The average analyst would cover 10 European companies and 5 Nordic companies. Analysts will be expected to have a sector view beyond that of their specific industry coverage. This will allow them to provide basic cover for other analysts in their sector.
Responsibilities
- Assume direct responsibility for client servicing - Writing timely thought provoking reports and communicating with a wide range of clients will be essential for the positions with longer reports on some of the major recommendations. - Data gathering - Historical numbers, especially in initiation reports. - Data gathering - Primary data like channel checks. - Knowledge gathering - Read analysts research, company material. - Participate in meetings with covered companies. - Maintenance of stock reports at all times - News alerts on all major events ( Flash Reports) - Sector views, including drivers, catalysts and threats maintained monthly - Longer reports on some of the major recommendations - Pre & Post results briefings
