Investment Associate required for dynamic Private Equity fund making 'Secondary' investments on a global basis.

Our client is a rapidly growing SECONDARY private equity fund established in 2004 by 3 ex-principals from one of the largest funds in the sector. They are currently investing their 2nd fund and are looking to expand the investment team with a further 'Investment Associate'.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 2 - 4 years of career experience, preferably in an M&A, Leverage finance or Financial Sponsors team at a leading Investment Bank.

- Excellent modelling and analytical skills.

- Logical and smart

- Well-rounded personality with strong presentation skills.

- Additional language skills are beneficial, in particular German.

Role Responsibilities:

- The team operates a very flat structure.

- The Investment Associate in the Secondary Investment team works directly with a Partner in the secondary team.

- Investment Associates are primarily responsible for evaluating, executing and monitoring private equity secondary transactions.

Key daily responsibilities include:

- Initial deal review and screening

- Business, financial and industry due diligence (multiple sector)

- Financial Modelling and valuation analysis

- Execution support

- Preparation of deal sheet

- Writing Investment Cases

- Presenting to Investment Committee

- Post investment transaction monitoring

- Legal negotiations
