A hybrid position between strategy implementation and research. The primary responsibility is to manage currency and asset allocation portfolios and to deliver solutions to client needs as a portfolio manager.
Active and dynamic currency hedge overlay strategies are the focused products; the team has recently looked into applications of the dynamic hedge framework to equity risk management, too. The position will also involve research on use of asymmetric payoffs as well as participation in global discussions to share investment insights for additional alpha sources.
Ability to interpret market developments in light of economic theories and to generate investment ideas balancing BGI's approach and practical viewpoints
Strong financial economic background - MA/PhD in Economics preferredCFA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
