This leading private equity firm have are looking to bring in a proven deal maker with specialist knowledge of the Financial Institutions sector who can assist them in origination large-cap buyouts across the EMEA region

One of the most successful private equity firms of the past 20 years. The F'IG' focused buyout team typically makes investment (in size) $2–20 billion in long-term committed capital. The professionals within the firm have worked together for many years and carry with them exceptional track records in large-cap buyouts and turnaround finance. They are well known for their approach and ability to execute complex transactions in Europe.

THE ROLE:

As Principal within the FIG buyout grou, you will be responsible for the following:

• Take charge or assist in the origination of FIG focused transactions

• Solid understanding of  EMEA FIG market as well as familiarity of the buyout   code.

• Mentor junior members of the team on all aspects of deal mechanics and best practice

• Deputise for Partners as and where necessary.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Bulge bracket investment banking background with significant European FIG deal exposure

• 6 – 10 years of professional experience

• Entrepreneurial in approach with proven ability to self-motivate in a highly competitive environment

• Exceptional technical skills combined with strong commercial awareness of distressed debt.
