Our client is a highly successful investment bank with European culture. They are now looking to add an equity research associate to their team to assist in the coverage of UK Banks.

The overall aim of the role is to generate and articulate investment ideas to your institutional and hedge fund client base.

The role would, entail, however:

•Preparing equity research, company and market research papers on major UK banks 

- Financial modeling and analysis

•Taking responsibility for the delivery of research services.

•Delivering presentations to external and internal clients.

•Identifying and executing themes suitable for research activities.

•Oversee the maintenance of databases of key data

Candidate background:

•Graduate with a first degree or equivalent

•Currently working within equity research, corporate finance, strategy consulting, industry, accounting  

•Excellent analytical skills - ideally with valuations or modelling skills

- Knowledge of the financial services sector is useful  

- Very strong communication skills, able to market ideas
