Large Bank is looking for an experienced Basel II Data Analyst to lead a new team providing vital analytical support and playing a pivotal role in the control governance, analysis and delivery of the Bank’s monthly Basel II risk reporting process.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for managing and delivering to the Risk elements of the Capital Reporting Working Day Submission Schedule and providing analytical support for Risk/Finance reconciliation
Providing analysis and internal reporting of the developing monthly Basel II risk data submissions
Provide auditable control and governance oversight of Capital Reporting data submission to the Group Credit Risk Engine
Constant liaison with a complex set of stakeholders
Experience desired:
Business and Data analytics as core areas of expertise, with knowledge of key analytical disciplines
Knowledge and awareness of Basel 2
Understanding of the business drivers behind Basel 2, e.g. Risk Weighted Assets, Probability of Default etc
