A New York proprietary trading firm is looking for a trader/quant to work on their equity futures/options desk. This is a Junior to Mid-Level role with responsibilities encompassing: quantitative/statistical research & modeling; development, testing, and optimization of trading strategies; as well as Trading.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on a listed equity/index option or futures trading desk and have 2-5 yrs of similar research & trading experience. Background with high frequency/high velocity trading using tick-by-tick data is a strong plus. Candidates must have an advanced quantitative degree with demonstrated strong computer skills (C++) along with superior communication skills
