The firm is adding a number of Research Analysts to various sectors including Retail, Leisure,Consumer,  Oil & Gas and Healthcare. The role comprises financial modeling and technical analysis of companies and supporting the more senior analysts on the desk. In the long term, prospects for the role will be for individuals to work in an analyst position with their own individual stock coverage.

I am also particularly interested in metals and mining analysts, 2yrs minimum in the sector with mining modelling experience.

Suitable candidates will possess :

• Financial Modelling and Spreadsheet Experience
• Previous work experience within Equity markets
• 5 +experience in a consultative or analytical research role
• Strong Interpersonal Skills. It would be useful if individuals applying have had some hands-on experience or academic exposure to the specific sector although it is not compulsory.What is most important is that the candidate possesses the financial, accounting and mathematical skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills because the role is client-facing and requires the ability to interface internally with sales people and traders as well as senior analysts.
