This is a senior level role with management opportunity and a high degree of exposure to the front office and Fund Managers. The successful candidate will be managing and controlling the derivatives administration process, and so the ideal candidate will have ETD experience (or at least OTC derivatives), attention to detail / risk focus and a proactive attitude in order to implement process improvements. The right candidate requires a good understanding of client valuation, margin calls, book costs and also performance as well. The need to have a ‘tidy mind’ is vital, as are good working principles, good attention to detail and be able to get the terminology right. The role will include processing trades, utilizing procedure documents, tidying up book costs and the need to have a good appreciation of the risks and the need to manage operational risk.
