Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing on-site due diligence
• Assessing the counterparty/credit risks attached to the hedge funds by reviewing/analysing the counterparty's strategy, performance and infrastructure
• Transaction analysis to assess suitability, compliance with credit policies and counterparty limits and calculation of initial margin requirements on complex products
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with sales and trading
• Ensuring effective monitoring of the transactions and excesses by constantly reviewing the counterparties' portfolio and liaising with the Control & Reporting function

As a candidate you will possess:

• Solid experience in investment banking within either counterparty risk or credit analysis of Financial Institutions.
• Hedge fund experience is preferable.
• Good understanding of capital markets products and strategies, in particular derivative products
• Strong communication skills for discussions with external (e.g. hedge funds) and internal clients (e.g. marketers, traders, legal, collateral management)
