Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements for Asia Pacific are met in the most efficient manner whilst maintaining a high level of quality control and data integrity. You will assess the impact of any new internal and external financial reporting requirements on the group and ensure that results are well understood, both internally and externally.

This role also involves analyzing financial results and providing adequate explanations for material variances; ensuring that internal and external results are produced in a timely manner and complying with all relevant external rules and internal policies; providing guidance and training to finance sites in a timely manner; rationalizing the financial reporting process within Asia Pacific and providing timely and effective feedback to HQ Finance in respect of various policy and system initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with 10+ years of post-qualification financial reporting experience in the banking / finance industry;
• Sound knowledge of IFRS / HKFRS reporting requirements
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, numerical and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
